Cowboys Add Playoff Tickets for Season Ticket Holders
Jerruh Jones, owner and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys, has legitimately lost his marbles.
Untethered to reality, space and time, the Dallas Cowboys are at it again. 'Boys season-ticket holders opened mailboxes this week to find their annual batch of preseason and regular-season vouchers packaged alongside a "sheet of playoff tickets, including a ticket for the NFC Championship Game," according to ESPN.com's Darren Rovell. NOTE: This is something no NFL team has ever done. "It's a convenience for our season-ticket holders to have everything in one package," said Brett Daniels, the Cowboys director of corporate communications. "It's an evolution to be fan-friendly. They have their tickets online and if we clinch a playoff berth they go to the computer and click they want the tickets." To be fair, Brian Lafemina, the NFL's senior vice president of club business development, told ESPN.com that he expects more teams to follow suit. "It's operationally efficient for the teams, and it's convenient for the fan," Lafemina said. "There are times when teams don't know if they are hosting a playoff game until a week before, and doing this helps eliminate some of the friction that exists among the teams and fans. This dovetails nicely with our new policy. If a fan says they will pay if a game is played, the team can now charge that fan and the ticket is already in hand." An efficient play by the Cowboys, but also one that -- to the average human -- reeks of hubris from a team that hasn't qualified for the NFC title game since Bill Clinton roamed the White House. Coming off three straight hyper-vanilla 8-8 campaigns, Dallas -- according to Around the League scribe Chris Wesseling -- looms as a far stronger candidate for the No. 1 pick than a football game in January. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...ok_atl_sessler |

Chiefs STH don't even get tickets anymore. You get a card with all the "tickets" on it that is swiped at the game like a credit card.

Meh, it would be pretty batshit crazy if if you had to pay for the postseason and wait for a refund months later, but it's nothing more than a placeholder...

Instead of the postseason ticket vouchers, they should just enclose a copy of Jason Garret's pink slip. Season ticket sales might go up for them.

Jerry is a southern polished up version of Al Davis and will never win the SB as a GM. His Titanic Ego will never realize that he sucks as a GM

The Cowboys are essentially the Raiders with a nicer stadium, more clean cut but yet terrible, senile owner/GM, and lesser cracked out fan base.

Don't the Chiefs do the same thing, or at least they used to, but at mid-season? You have to pay then, before knowing if the game will occur. If it does then you go, if it doesn't then the money goes toward next year's tickets. (Or you can get a refund if you ask for it or something of that nature)

Why do people do this? It makes a person look stupid, uneducated and overall just bad.

the cowboys ownership is the worst. I feel sorry for cowboy fans having to deal with that type of leadership.

No...just printed tickets. You won't pay till later with a simple click on site...actually pretty smart and was more cost effective
