Don't drop tapatalk from CP. I don't even go to forums without it on my phone now. If there is an option to just drop the ads, go for it. Otherwise just live with it.

I can't stand NOT using tapatalk. There are things missing (rep, polls), but it more than makes up for it, IMO in ease of use.
That said, I haven't gotten any ads yet. |

I use the free version of Tapatalk on my iPhone, and noticed the ads recently.
Obviously I wish there weren't any ads, but its not enough to get me to stop using it. |

Ok so I just looked into this and apparently they implemented this and had it default to show ads but I can opt-out. The problem is this... Tapatalk circumvents our one Google ad that helps pay server costs. In theory these ads are supposed to create revenue that Tapatalk will pay me... I say "in theory" because from what I have read, the people who run Tapatalk are notorious dirtbags who have had past issues with not ever paying people and such.
I think I'll let it ride for a month or so and see what happens but I may opt-out if it looks like it won't help offset the loss of Adsense revenue. make sense? |
