Lol. I think many of us on this board have been saying that due to his age and the neck injury that his arm strength would diminish as the season went on, but I didn't expect it to happen this soon. Guess he shouldn't have been throwing it so much early in the season. Lol

It's not any stronger or weaker than last year.

The only difference is that you notice it more when he's not winning...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

At the start of the year everyone was talking about how much more zip he had on the ball than last year.

So you're saying when the season started people were licking his bag?

And this is...not expected?

But, but, but he's throwing like he was a decade ago!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never seen so many ducks with the hand of god floating them right into the receivers hands. It is wierd, but once that weather hits...

I'd still trade Alex Smith and a first-round draft pick for him

I know, it's pretty weird looking. He slings his arm and the ball comes out and goes in a slow arc that doesn't match the velocity I expect. The ball is a nice pretty spiral that is right on target, but man, do his throws look floaty and weird.

I still say the ballhawks we have would have gotten 4 or 5 of those he threw on Sunday. They had some pretty bad ball skills on those floaters.
