Chiefs Locker Room Celebration After Cowboys Game

Watching this never gets old. These guys have a fire and new attitude we havent seen in years. Especially love seeing how Albert is taking a huge leadership role on this team especially after not getting the contract he wanted after the season. That dude was excited after the game!

People just shit on him because Dorsey tried to move him before the season so he could draft a RT at 1.1; and Chiefs fans automatically thought the guy must have been subpar at his position. Which he never has been.

God, our line would be such hot garbage without Albert right now.

Gotta give credit to Clark, as well, for recognizing that this organization needed to clean house and not half-assing it..

Branden Albert deserves to be paid. He has stood up and claimed his role here. I loved seeing him stand up for Jamaal last week, and telling mother****ers to do a better job this week.

FWIW, Clark spent some time out in the parking lot shaking hands with folks...just like his daddy used to do...was great to see.

he didn't have a hissy fit on twitter? he didn't cry about getting respect and that he was no longer a guard?

don't misunderstand. I'm glad that he is being a leader and a team player but let's not forget that he flat refused to play a different position. I've never been low on his talent... only his character.

As he should have. He isn't a guard. He's an LT and deserved to play and be paid as one. I don't blame him for not wanting to switch to a position that would only hinder his career prospects. I don't know why we expect guys to be "team players" and do everything they can to benefit the team; when it's clearly a business and these guys deserve the opportunity to play the position they've been in for years and played well at.

His character isn't in question. The decision making of the people in charge that thought he was expendable is.

Yeah. If your boss told you he was going to move you to a lesser position which could cause you to take a 50% paycut the following year, i'm sure you'd be jumping for joy like a good little trooper too.

This. So stupid to hold that against him.

No doubt about that. While Andy might end up pissing us off with his clock management throughout the season; it's definitely nice to see a guy on the sidelines who looks like he understands what is happening on the field in front of him.

no, he didn't have a 'hissy fit' and no he didn't 'cry' about anything...jesus, you're worried about 'his character'?

because of a single tweet you didn't approve of?

it's the same stupid shit about Bowe being a 'problem' or 'selfish' because he - gasp - points to his name after a TD

Albert has listened to idiots say he should move to guard for years...he tried for once for all to let those idiots know that they are ****ing idiots, he pointed out the ****ing obvious: I'm a LT...which should have never required pointing out

all he has ever done since being a Chief is show up and perform, and play through pain for one shitty QB and coach after another...just like Bowe....and fans have created stupid myths about both

god knows why

Chiefs fans love hardworking, character guys with limited talent that give their all and fail on the field. Max effort is a better attribute than being talented and good at your position.

Glad to see your previous post was sarcasm. The line turned into swiss cheese while Brandon Albert was in the locker room injured.

I have been on the Albert bandwagon, since Milkman pointed him out as a great prospect in college. IMO, he has been the typical lunch pail lineman, quietly getting the job done well above average, even though he was trying to protect a steaming pile of garbage. Now he is adding leadership, and I put that on his leaders for pulling it out of him.

I am now a total Reid homer, and all of my reservations on that hire are gone.
