Sorry, but I'd rather take a qb in the top 10 than take my chances of finding a guy in the 2nd round.
I would be for taking one in the first round, it's just been proven that you don't need the 1st overall pick to get that guy anymore, even top 10.

These kids are becoming so much more prepared for the NFL than we've ever seen. Add that with the rules to protect QB's and WR's and you have a formula for success.

Then you have no need to waste your time watching games this season.

Then by that logic you don't need to pick any position in the top 10 cause you can find them elsewhere.

You have a better chance of getting a franchise qb in the top of the first round, same as any other position. Saying you won't take one there because they can be found elsewhere is just bad logic.

Boy, those defensive rankings were eye gougers, but i'm gonna put about 2/3 of that on an offense that consistently hung them out to dry in every game but one.

And you seem to be using the anomalies to justify this. For every Russell Wilson there are 10 Brody croyles.

All everyone here is saying is that you have a better chance at getting a better qb the higher you draft one

I would definitely take one if he seemed like a good QB prospect, but unfortunately that's not the case this year.

We will be picking in the teens at worst with this regime IMO, so that's where I got the draft position from.

I honestly think we're all in on Smith and he'll be here for 5 years or so unless he gets hurt.

If they're going all I. On smith for 5 years no matter the results, we are in trouble. I don't think they will, but we will see.

If they do decide to go for a qb in the upcoming years I'd hope they trade up for the best qb instead of waitin for the 4 best to fall.

With the new CBA the Ben's, Flacco's and Rodgers all get pushed up to the top 10 these days.

I hope they do that. Get a QB they like ala Rodgers and have him take over after learning.

So after all these terrible losing seasons where we've drafted top 5 four times and not drafted a QB(this draft isn't over yet) you are still worried about winning to many games because we won't be in position to draft a QB?

They won't give Smith 5 years. Reid and Dorsey wil get a QBOTF in waiting on the roster.

The best isn't always the first one picked. Was Big Ben the best one? Or Flacco? Was Rogers the best one? Was Drew Brees the best One?

I'd take Aaron Rodgers over Big Ben, Eli or Rivers any day of the week and he wasn't in a generational class.
