just a realist guys..go back and look at the 08 draft. We hit on the first few rounds which was awesome. After that..garbage. Yet alot of guys around here act like every 5th or 6th round pick is a 10 year starter.

Not trying to be a downer, just temper expectations is all.

There hasn't been this much of a universal positive agreement about a draft from top to bottom since I've been here.

Could some of them end up being busts? Sure. I guess I don't really see what the point is in stating the obvious as if it's profound, though.

I think you'll find yourself dead wrong in 2-3 years...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

The advantage of this is that there'll be very little criticism of these guys if they don't work out.

That '08 draft has 6 of 12 picks remainig on this roster and contributing.

And Brad Cottam is still property of the Chiefs, so that is a 7th who is still capable of contributing, if he ever gets past the injury bug.

So just shut the **** up, you dumb son of a bitch.

The Pats boards are in full meltdown mode. I thought they did well, but its a much different feeling over there...

I think the boston cops are watching all the tall buildings and bridges for suicide watch.

The amazing thing about this draft is we made good picks in the 1st and 2nd round, and at this point they're almost being overshadowed by some of the guys we took in later rounds like Houston, Stanzi, and Powe. I can't ever remember a "quieter" 2nd round pick than Hudson.

You can say one or two people did just about anything on this board. However there is no set canned reaction this board has had over the years. This is a board that has been overjoyed and horrified on draft day.

You say the stupidest shit.

People are literally more excited over the 6th round pick than the 2nd round pick...and they're both GREAT picks.

How ****ed up is that?
