The Pay Chris Jones Thread
Yes it needs its own thread.
Pay Chris Jones, don't let him walk. How important is he? Post your reasons in this thread, I'll start with something that really should be enough to convince you:
Only Aaron Donald and Jarret are doubled more and nobody wins versus a double team more often than Jones. Pay the man. |

Man, him and Mahomes are gonna be like 60 million a year? But we just gotta figure it out. Pay him.

I'd still be okay with getting a haul for him. Replacing him with a stud mlb and either C or G, I think we improve overall.
He's proven talent though, and picks are always a gamble. I'm kind of indifferent. If we keep him, great. He's a disruptive force on d line. If we get 2 great players in exchange, im good with that also.

He's going to get franchise tagged for no other reason than Mahomes getting his 200 million dollar contract. He's the victim of nothing else than being on the same team with a guy that earns even more money than he will.

The better he plays, the more we want to keep him. But, the better he plays the more other teams would give us to have him. If the Chiefs got offered a top 10 first rounder plus another pick, that's incredibly tempting still.

I’m all for paying Chris Jones and this graphic explains why. But isn’t it showing that he’s actually doubled the most and wins more than only a small handful of others?
