How to make amazing grits:
Make some grits per instructions on box Add in a bunch of cheddar cheese and melt it in. Add in some fresh garlic to taste Add a bunch of butter Whisk a couple of eggs and mix with some milk and add to mixture Pour into greased casserole dish and bake until set. Top with more cheese toward end of baking. Really turns out more like a polenta. Can be cut into squares and reheated throughout week with various dishes.

I've never had grits. I'm not even sure what they are. Nor do I care to know.

Oh. And that recipe originally called for Kraft Garlic Cheese in a tube which is no longer made.

I love grits. I don't adulterate them with cheese and butter. a little salt and pepper is perfect. if there is cheese already in the grits, I'm not going to make a stink about it.
I think you are a fan of everything but the grits
