Where do you see that?

Now it's the new Eagles coach's move. He must come up with an adjustment to combat the game plan that the Chiefs used and future opponents will almost certainly try to replicate.

"Chip Kelly's ... offense didn't perform well"

"Running back Bryce Brown is wide open streaking down the sideline. But Vick didn't see Brown on the sideline and tried to force the ball...downfield."

"It was that kind of evening for the Eagles. They moved the ball, had opportunities for big plays, but just didn't make them. And upon further review, a lot of it had to do with Vick having an off night. He easily played his worst game of the season Thursday night against the Chiefs."

"Here's another huge miss on a similar play. This time Vick escaped pressure and had Jackson matched against former Eagle Akeem Jordan. No contest. It would have been an easy pitch and catch for a big gain, possibly even a touchdown given Jackson's incredible speed. Again, Vick tried to force the ball to Cooper downfield. Incomplete."

"So Vick pumped to try and create an opening. He then tried to squeeze the pass in, only to have Houston knock it down."

"The Chiefs used this delayed rush technique all game long. It helped slow Kelly's offense when the Eagles weren't self-destructing (5 turnovers)."

"The Eagles brought a blitz (defined here as anything more than a 4-man rush) on just seven of 44 pass plays."

"...defensive coordinator Billy Davis wasn't very aggressive with his play calling."

"There were some costly breakdowns..."

"After reviewing Damaris Johnson's muffed punt several times I came to the conclusion that it was likely a mental, not physical, mistake. Johnson waited too long to call for a fair catch. It wasn't Johnson's only mental blunder either."

"These aren't his first mental mistakes."

Not every team has a guy who can move like Vick. So, whatever.

I still don't see it as a Eagles blew it piece as much as a Chiefs had the formula to beat them.

I have to say, I'm with T-post on this. The author makes it sound like the only reason the Chiefs formula worked is because Vick let it.

Vick just isn't that good at passing. That is the way he has always been but the NFL loves them some Vick. No NFL system works for a QB that sucks at passing.

What a BS analysis. We manned up and beat them plain and simple. Vick had an off night? Yeah he did, because our defense made him. We blanketed his WR's and sacked his ass a bunch. An off night? Stupid read.

I don't know why people can never say it was half vick not making throws and it was half the Chiefs defense playing well.

That is exactly what the article said. But you can't sell papers or be a journalist by simply stating things in one line.

Chiefs defense excelled while Vick underperformed.

As Vick underperforms Chiefs defense excels.

Some of you homers have to realize that the national media is used to the Chiefs being total ass every year, and they will continue to be very skeptical of a team out of Kansas City being legit until a championship is won or a consistent winning program takes the field year after year.
