I was as wrong as I could be on that trade.

Fair point. But given how shallow we were at corner, let's face it. We are really, really lucky we were able to pull Cooper off. Imagine if we didn't.

Yo bump, I've been meaning to ask you. I just started a movement called cannabis for cancer. We basically spread the word about the harmful effects of chemo and radiation in hopes that people understand that weed is a cure-all. We could really use a donation from you and your $10/hour job delivering pizzas. You in, mon?

It seemed strange at the time, particularly since they had just taken a FB in the draft, but it's pretty clear that they took advantage of the chance to upgrade at very little expense.
Here are some interesting snap counts from PFF: Javier Arenas (listed as a S even though he's a backup CB on Arizona's depth chart) has taken only 62 snaps for the Cardinals.I don't know if either Arenas or Dorsey have had injuries this year, but they certainly haven't contributed much to their new teams.

Do you remember the moves we made to replace Arenas? Agnew? A whole bunch of other scrubs? Those were panic moves from a team that realized outside of Robinson, we were really bad at corner. We ended up a hell of a lot better because of the Sherman trade. But again, let's not count out that some luck after the fact had to do with it. If not for Marcus Cooper, when Dunta Robinson got injured, Jalil Brown was going to be our nickel guy.

I agree with that. He's been a huge blessing. IMO they would have still played press man with Brown or Parker. They were going to get a tall press type cb, project or not, and stick him out there to play how they want

I forgot to mention that Sherman is by far the highest rated FB in the league according to PFF:
1. Anthony Sherman +11.0 2. Mike Tolbert +6.4 3. Collin Mooney +5.9 4. Bruce Miller +5.8 5. John Kuhn +2.0

Pass the crow. I thought it was a dumb deal considering they used a draft pick on a Fullback.

Was thinking about this today as well. My instinct at the time was that it wasn't a good trade. Crow eaten. Alex, it's your turn to make me do this.

How can Glenn Dorsey have 15 tackles while playing only 9 snaps?

Yeah, figured that was wrong after seeing he has 15 tackles on the season.
