Jamaal Charles: Starter?

Just wondering what people think of JC(Jamaal Charles) on here. I think he's

not a starting back yet, but in a couple years he will be. I just think that he's a

player that if you give him more receiving plays he'll be a more productive

player, but not as a handoff back that will plow people over. I also think that

he will strive if there was a running game because he would definitely

compliment a bruising running back. It would have worked with LJ, but he was

out for a month and really there was not much of a running game the whole

season. I know I'm being ****in' captain obvious with the last few sentences,

but I really think he'd be a good compliment for a brick shit house RB that

has a running game and not start next year.

Wow. I didn't realize that JC weighed that much. Nevermind about my argument. Continue and discuss amongst yourselves.

I think it's gonna be funny when people see that he gets cut, all this trade talk is non sense new GM's cut players.

I think Charles could add about 10-15 lbs to his frame and hopefully improve his durability.
I think that Charles needs to add more than 10-15 lb's to remain durable in the NFL. I've been around many current and former NFL players and have always thought that the NFL is very accurate with their listings of height and weight however, in Jamaal Charles case, trust me, it's wrong. He can't be more than 175 pounds. I just don't think he'll ever be able to take any significant pounding in the NFL at his current size.

This is exactly what I think will happen. It's the reason I still believe Herm will be fired. Pioli is gonna bring in a coach to rebuild this team, and I don't mean the "Herm Edwards say rebuild a lot because you know you suck." Some ones gonna come in here and blow this crappy team up. It's also the reason I believe we will be a 3-4 team, you can say we don't have the roster to do it but hey lets face it we don't have the roster to run a 4-3 either.

New GM's do things the way they want, he may get rid of some guys that the fan base gets pissed about.

Like when Herm has the balls to say something like "the rebuild is 85% done" I'll tell you what most of these players won't be here when this team is good...

Too small to get too many touches and will lose his biggest asset (speed) if he tried to add "10 or 15" pounds. He's a nice complementary player but isn't the classic "every down" back.

JC should be relegated to returner and 3rd down back.

The question in Charles is the same question pundits ask about all small backs, "Can he carry the ball 15 to 20 times a game and stay injury free?" I like Charles elusiveness but I do not like the fact he was hampered by a nagging ankle all year.

If they do move from LJ which seems pretty likely with the change at the top of the organization then you look for a guy who can take alot of touches and be a hammer, James Davis in the mid rounds possibly.
Yeah... Charles' ankles are slightly stronger than Jell-O. I don't know how many times he hobbled off the field on one leg.
