I should probably mention that my oldest daughter's biological father is from India. Thanks to her biological father's drive, and the American school system, she's a nurse. A damn good one.

A 501C3 is also probably beneficial for them to legitimize themselves instead of funneling through other programs, as well. If they've done this much so far, I think it's pretty important to establish something like that. Where does the OP say, "If you could all donate that would be awesome!"? He's just trying to spread the word.

We are indeed working on a 501C3, but, the main purpose for establishing a 501C3 would be to legitimize ourselves as a non-profit organization.
