-- Cracker Barrel Old Country Store & Restaurant, what do you order?
What do you order at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store & Restaurant? Is there a certain location you specifically make a point to go to? Maybe en route to a nice vacation spot!? I'd say I like their B&G and Pancakes the best. They also make a nice bacon flavored sausage(although I can't find anything on it on the web) (I swear it existed!), or at least it used to, it was an alternative to their spicy whole-hog standard breakfast sausage. Plus you could purchase tubes of it raw, to go!
Lunch or Dinner I'd go pot roast without hesitation, which plate would you do? breakfast plates. lunch/dinner plates. location near you? |

Typically something chicken fried steak. And apple butter with the biscuits.

I'm concerned this isn't going to meet your post standard, SR.

Never been. It's a bit out there from my neck of the woods.

I don't really know yet - I don't have a good feel for the breadth-n-depth of this thread. I suspect it will bring some nice travel stories though. This is a road-stop restaurant on your way to like florida or something, maybe Nashville or the Lake of the Ozarks, IDK.

What do you buy from the Cracker Barrel General Store?
Probably deserves its own thread.....

Their hashbrown casserole is pretty good. I'll usually get that as my side choice if I'm ever there for breakfast, which isn't often.
