We were competitive at CB because we could play Nelson out on the outside when Gaines went down. We've lost White but got Gaines back. Our starting three are still Peters-Gaines-Nelson right now. Though we're starting to hit our limit there...

Ford has stepped his game up to make up for missing Houston.

Chris Jones has stepped his game up to make up for losing Allen Bailey.

Our RB rotation with Ware, Charles, and West, as well as Knile Davis at one point, has delivered so far.

Even losing Knile Davis to injury and then trade allows us to play DAT more, which has given us some yardage.
These are all bullshit. Ford is invisible most the time, The CB position behind Peters-Gaines is a mess and the o-line was awful without LDT.

Yep. Dee Ford played well against SD and Oak just like he did last year. He's been quiet in every other game.

Ford actually plays effectively against the run and in coverage.

You see almost zero completions against him in the passing game.
You see almost zero big runs off tackle against him.

We're giving up yards up the gut, not to Ford.

His passrushing leaves something to be desired, I wish he were more disruptive, but he does essentially have 4.5 sacks after 6 games. That's pretty good.
