61 passes at 37 years old. Just adds some consistency behind Kelce for a year

Need a TE that can block. Watson can, so good deal.

Would like some solid depth and experience on the DL as well.

2nd on the team in targets, 1st in receptions, 2nd in receiving yardage, tied for 1st in TD's. He'll be a solid 2nd TE here, IMO. |

Surprised he's still in the league. Cheap vet with some remaining upside, let's do this.

Chiefs have tried drafting young TE in the later rounds before. Hasn't worked out. Sure, we could get a good one in the earlier rounds but maybe Veach wants to focus on Defense or Offensive line in the early rounds and knows he won't be able to find a reliable TE in the 4th round or later.
If Watson can perform like last year this is a great option. Playing in an offense with good receivers everywhere will even give the old guy more opportunities to get open, a luxury he'd didn't enjoy in Baltimore. Just a thought |

in defense of his drops - assuming the focus from opposing d's is elsewhere vs. KC - then I'd imagine he'll get better looks, no?

Harris can't catch. He needs to be replaced because this has gone on long enough. He did make a few big ones but his drops are killers.

Might as well cut Harris (assuming it creates cap space) and draft a guy too then
