there is no veggie i wont eat raw, or cooked, aside from potatoes.
that said, there is nothing better than fresh corn on the cob straight from the stalk. (as long as it's home grown, or from some farm in the midwest.) |

I also have learned that cutting up a rutabaga and cooking it with a pot roast is awesome. Kind of like a combination of cooked carrot and cauliflower. |

I love rutabaga in beef stew. Must be just as good in a pot roast.

i did as a kid, but as i grew older and could appreciate certain foods, raw became too starchy in flavor. now i will admit, i never tried to add any types of salts, or dressings either.

I like clams on the half shell (raw). I don't like them cooked, they taste like rubber. You'll know if they're bad after you shuck them.
Corn has to be cooked. I'll eat broccoli either way. Carrots either way. |

It's weird. I like chocolate chip cookies equally whether they're raw or cooked.

Peas in the pod uncooked, love them.
Cooked peas repulse me. I like all veggies raw except potatoes. Peppers, onions, corn I'll also eat cooked.

I work in a produce market, when the fresh produce comes in a lot of it gets a taste test in addition to the visual inspection all of it gets. Green beans, asparagus and sugar snap peas are all very good raw. I don't do beets at all, they taste like dirt and when they're pickled they taste like pickled dirt. Brussels sprouts are something that I think need cooked (in bacon grease), okra only in gumbo they're too hairy raw and too slimey cooked. Most vegs I'll eat either way but fruits are best fresh IMO.
