I will not stop till this thread is dead and buried once again. This ****er is like the offspring of Jason and Chucky. We all know Bronco fans are the seeds of buttsex, but this little turd is a special kind...

Houston played his games healthy, and sat out with his elbow injury. Ware had his elbow injury all season long, and played through it. If he's injured again, it will hamper his play... which is why I referenced injuries in my first post on the subject.

Hef is the king of the random, useless stat and, honestly, defends his Bronco butt buddies just as adamantly as KnowMo, but he's FAR more tolerable than that little shit stain.
I mean, "Richard Sherman and Aqib Talib are a wash"? That is a special kind of stupid right there. |

It means you are a dumb homer that won't acknowledge the difference between an ascending and descending player. You just don't like what that suggests.

Pretty funny that Hef doesn't account for teams like the Broncos and Bills purposely getting the ball very quickly bc of this pass rush.
Last year teams knew we had a good pass rush and that was their plan.

1/3 of Ware's sacks last year came from an injured rookie RT in KC.

Another 1/3 of Ware's sacks last year came against a weak STL RT who I don't even know of.
So 4 of Ware's 6 sacks were against poor RT's last year. This is too easy.

It's not useless but also not the end-all-be-all. Not that I care to even argue about it, but sacks are only a small part of the impact a rush backer has on the game. It doesn't carry as much weight to only look at the sacks when there are hurries and pressures to account for that have just as large an impact as recording an actual sack. The latest Super Bowl highlighted this very well. Peyton only got sacked once the entire game, I believe, but the pressure and QB hits were what really caused huge problems for your offense. Also, I don't even think Tamba finished the season in the top 10 as far as sacks are concerned, but PFF had him something like #1 or 2 in total sacks, QB hits and pressures. Once again, I don't give two shits about this specific argument you guys are having so there's no need for you to run off and calculate all total sacks, hits and pressures like I'm sure you're likely already starting to do before finishing this post, but you can use stats to paint whatever kind of picture you'd like. |
