Said this before the game...opinion hasn't changed..

We were 2:1 under dogs, this wouldve been a great win but its not a HUGE deal of a loss...not even a conference game. If we don't lose our collective shit, we are still up in this division.

This team is 4-5 years away from being a contender.

One of the reasons I hate Smith is how overpaid he is. With his salary and bonus, what is he actually making this year? Not what counts against the cap, but actual money in his pocket. I have seen the amount of $30 million in a couple of places.

He doesn't deserve to be paid like a top 10 QB because he doesn't act or play like one. And I don't effing care about the stats, or his record. He doesn't pass the eye test.

It is not that Alex can't think. It is that Alex is too nice. He is not going to defy direct orders from his coach.

This is part of what I meant when I said Alex is lacking in killer instinct. If Mike McCarthy told Rodgers to stop running Lacey while effective, Rodgers would just blow him off.

Alex isn't wired that way. He is a good soldier. He is going to follow orders. He is not going to step out of line. And that "too nice" character, while it makes for a darling teammate and causes fans of your former team to follow you wherever you go, just doesn't get it done on the field in the crunch.

I wish Alex was meaner, less nice. He would be a better leader and better QB. Steve Young had to chew out George Seiffert on the sidelines and get in his face before his teammates backed him 100% and pulled out the stops for him that super bowl year.

Alex is just too nice. He needs lessons from Aaron Rodgers in how to be a snotty punk once in a while.

Well, now I know for sure it wasnt just the booze talking... I'm just as pissed off at Andy Reid as I was last night.

It seems we're never going to have a consistent, coherent offensive philosophy... the man constantly wants to fix what isnt broken, he constantly wants to prove what a damn genius he is.
