Game of Thrones Thread

Feel free to discuss any future speculation, theories. Anything from the books is fair game to post. Everything that has been broadcast on TV or from HBO. No spoilers needed.

  1. If you watched or know the events that will take place in a unaired episode that has not been broadcast on HBO, you must put all the information and comments in a spoiler tag.
  2. Do not post any media of any kind involving actual content from unaired episodes without being in a spoiler. The only exception to the spoiler rule is content publicly posted from HBO and or the GOT actor themselves. Teasers, promos, trailers etc.

Any person unable to follow the spoiler rules will be banned from this thread. 14 days for first offense. Perm banned from the thread for a 2nd offense.

Let's not forget that Elaria and the Sand Snakes killed Doran because he refused to go to war with the Lannisters, and supposedly everyone in Dorne agrees with them. I assume this means the Dornish may be marshaling forces and preparing to attack King's Landing.

Jaime needs to take care of Riverrun and then prepare to defend against the Dornish, otherwise they could find themselves surrounded soon. But if they assume the Dornish are going to attack, it makes more sense to draw them away from their homeland and defend a fortified position than it does to take your army down to Dorne and leave King's Landing exposed with enemies all around.

Yeah, that does seem odd.
Because Benioff and Weiss. I was so happy that they didn't write the most recent episode. I knew for a fact that I wouldn't be subject to full-screen dong or 10 minutes of puking.

Now that I think about it, Show Jaime is either the most chill guy who's ever lived, or is a total idiot.

-Knows Tyrion didn't kill Joffrey, but does nothing to look for the real killer. (Book Jaime thinks Tyrion did it, because Tyrion lied to him and told him so)

-Knows Cersei cheated on him with Lancel, apparently doesn't care. (This is what drove Jamie and Cersei apart in the books)

-Knows the Dornish killed his daughter, apparently doesn't care.

-As Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, has no idea where the King is, or that all of his men are getting decked out in their new Faith Militant gear.

I think that they (D&D) are going to cut Euron and Vic down considerably, especially with Asha making off to Volantis.

The leaked chapter from GRRM has me hopeful the show will make Euron into a badass but the leaks

I have a sneaking feeling that Dany and her army will be landing in Dorne. The Sand Snakes won't follow weak men anymore but surely they could join up with a strong female conqueror and her dragons.

Intriguing thought. Tyrion and Varys know that group. They no doubt will disapprove of the betrayal/overthrow. And Tyrion better bring his own wine to the party.

Seems like the better alliance would be with Jon, but the north would be a tougher place for the Dothraki to survive the wilderness.
