It's simple statistics. The chances of making a 2-point conversion in that situation are virtually nil.

One was from two yards the other was from one. From 2 yards the historical rate is 47%. From one yard it would be even higher. So yes simple statistics they should go for it, because OT is at best at those odds. They didn’t have a 70%+ chance to win in OT.

From the 2? I agree with kicking it. There's a non-zero chance the Chargers throw it 40 yards down the field and get a field goal to win even if the Titans get 2 points. If the game is tied, the Chargers likely kneel it to OT and then it's 50/50.

However, from the 1, I guess you go for it, but damn it man, run the ball.
