As I said, I never would have signed either of the Smiths to begin with.

You back yourself into a corner by desperately reaching for veteran players you end up trading for another team's meh corner and praying your third round pick can even play a sub role by the end of the year three years later.

Teams are all for drafting multiple CB's and letting problem guys/old guys go.

GB did it last year. Carolina and KC did it this year. Having Sean for 1 more year to ease that transition would have been nice tho.

Time to see if the Gaines hype is real.
