Game of Thrones (spoiler-free zone)
A few have suggested it, might as well test the waters. The idea is to give people who haven't read the books a safe place to talk about the show.
A few quick ground rules:

For what it's worth, the first four episodes of season 5 leaked and can be procured through alternate sources. I can't decide if I want to watch them all but then have to wait a month or if I'll just watch one a week like I'm supposed to.

Read a synopsis of the opener on yahoo this morning, way too much info for me... wont be doing that again.
Sounded kinda slow, but thats not too surprising... they gotta get everyone back up to speed and set the stage. |

Plus it is fun to really think and reflect on the events of an episode and how things might play out later. |

I'm gonna miss Charles Dance this season. He was absolutely killing it as Tywin Lannister

Pretty good episode tonight. I saw the deal with Arya coming.
The story line with Brienne ****ing up all those dudes from the Vail was fairly awesome. But I was a little irked that they make Podrick so worthless. He's the one that speared that big mother****er that hacked up Tyrians face. And he proved to be pretty handy otherwise when Tyrian was the Hand. ****ing throwing a rock at this dude? Lame. I'm anxious to see where the Jamie/Dorne thing goes. Especially with Bronn involved. Hopefully some damn fine fights occur. They're now laying all the tough decisions on Danerys now. But damn. That's a huge ****ing dragon. |

I like the way they handled Podrick's character. He's an oaf that lucks out a lot.

Eh I don't know about oaf. Hell he smoked an armored warrior on a battlefield to save Tyrian. That at least takes situational awareness. He wouldn't throw a rock at some ass****er looking to chop him into bits.

Real men have Barbers.
Clay - Broads can smell if you've been to a stylist and they'll treat you like their gay friend that's fun to gossip with and take out shopping. Get a Barber that's of European decent, preferably Italian, who has Playboys in the magazine rack and ashtrays in the barber chairs and you'll be on your way to Cootertown with no strings attached, (tampon or otherwise). |
