Props for the QB who always finds a way to win. Things weren't going our way in the first half but he didn't quit and found a way to lead us to victory.

I could give a rats ass what Alex thinks about anything other than being a quality quarterback for the Chiefs. Some folks wear crosses, some have tats, some do the bling thing with earrings and other piercings, hells bells, you can wear a cowbell for all I care. Just do your damn job as QB for the Chiefs!

Before the Conley miss, Kelce was all by himself on a corner route in the end zone, practically jumping up and down and waving his hands while Smith forced the ball short underneath to Conley, who was well-covered, for an incompletion.

We get it. Alex played like shit today. You think all your whining and bitching will change things? I guarantee you Smith and Reid are pissed about how things went. The offense needs to be better, and we will see better play.

I said it in another thread. Some of you should join the Trump protests because you'd fit right in bitching, whining and lamenting a reality that cannot be changed. Deal with it. Smith is the Chiefs qb for the forseeable future.

When will we see better play we are pass the half way point of the season and it's still looking like total ass - a few bright flashes here and there.

It's a team game, and, for the most part, including this game, this offense is not holding up it's end.

At least the offense didn't put the defense in any bad positions. That's part of the chess match in football. His one interception was caught inside the 10 of Carolina so essentially a punt on 3rd down. Overall, it was a bad showing on offense but then again Carolina is no slouch on defense at home coming into this game with a lot of momentum.

Maclin missing the game may be a blessing in disguise as we got see what tyreek is all about. This team full force with Maclin and Houston going into the playoffs can go toe to toe with anyone.

Watching Smith throw check downs and missing wide open receivers is tiresome.

No excuses though, Smith and the offense overall has to be better.
The O-line took a hit when Ehinger went down, and with Ware and Smith just coming off injuries it is not a crapshoot to think there would be somewhat of a drop off. As substandard as Maclin has played this season, his presence is needed in order to open up the field for other players. No team is going to be 100% healthy, but lets be thankful that Dorsey has built depth within the roster to withstand these personnel challenges due to injury.

The young talent mixed with veteran savvy on defense will carry this team. It will never be an offensive juggernaut, but so long as the offense can be efficient and opportunistic, this team has a chance to be a tough out later in the year.
