Hurts extra since NYY and Boston aren't factors. That's a major anomaly. So you had 5 playoff spots without them taking one (or both). How many years will that happen? 5 spots for 13 teams, and really 11 since Houston & Texas had no shot. So 5 of 11 went which was nearly even odds.
