Chiefs have big interest in Red Bryant

Was told yesterday that the Chiefs will have big interest in Red Bryant. He would replace Jackson in base package and might even cause Dontari to move out of the nose and into Jackson's spot.

It's like buying that $5 movie in the bargain bin at Wal-Mart because it's only $5.

It wouldn't surprise me. Green Bay was never very active in FA. I have a feeling if they aren't somewhat active this team is going to suck monkey balls next season.

I really dont know what you guys expect. Spending big bucks in free agency hasnt ever been a winning formula.

The team doesnt have much money to compete, and they have a bunch of players they need to extend (Smith, Berry, Houston).

I cant imagine the team getting existing players like Hali, Flowers, Bowe to restructure without taking care of their own "star" players first. Really, the team isnt desperate for a bunch of starters anyway. They only have a few (RG, LDE, FS).

Jags makes sense. Bryant has experience, obviously, playing for Jags coach Gus Bradley.

how many were in there first year? how many got large contracts for their position?

The chiefs got a bunch of "free agents" last yr. They will probably get some this yr, but I expect most of them to be guys who were cut from other teams.
