Just watched the new episode tonight. Man, that was good! It was just tense, exciting and perfect on all levels. The writers on this show need a raise. They're great at making amazing heroes and freaking cunning villains. Ashur made good on his promise to Lucretia in the most brilliant way possible. And the retribution at the end... wow! Now... will there be forgiveness for Gannicus? It's going to be interesting!
And yes, finally, a very good performance for Liam as Spartacus. |

I haven't looked at this thread, I'm only through episode 3 of the new season. The new Sparticus just isn't resonating with me, not strong enough so far.
And turning Crixxus (sp?) into a love-lorn cry baby is plain wrong. Hopefully it gets stronger from here on out.

This show is a melodrama in the best possible sense. Really kickass way to tie up the arcs so far this season.

I'm guessing you wish you had a little Syrian in you. Genealogically speaking, of course.

****'in impressed with this Season, and the actors. Much better storyline and acting. Not sure how to do that spoiler deal, so not going to attempt it.

Have you watched from the beginning? You like the new Spartacus? Emasculated Criccus? I'm jealous, I wish I could like them. The first two seasons were balls-out great viewing for me but this season, well, I'm guessing it will be the last. They are still trying hard but the spark seems to have gone out.

↑Indeed, I have watched All the Seasons, and this new Spartacus imo is impressive. I'm hoping next episode is a home run, and from what developed last episode (March 2) there has to be another season.

Glad to hear the new Spartacus is doing it for you. Not me. It just feels like they are piecing together one more season but they lack their stud characters like Quintus and the original Spartacus. Asher being a main character is a bit hard to believe. I liked it when the band was together and the coliseum was rocking.
