Tonight I made this garlicky spaghetti squash 'except I used freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano. I also added some garlic butter and salt to the squash as it needed more flavor. I served it like this too. I used my refrigerated grap tomatoes. Hah! Served with pan sauteed chicken breast in olive oil and garlic. Glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Kid loved it.

Looks pretty. I'm not a raw tomato guy, but I've read you shouldn't store tomatoes in the fridge as it permanently destroys a flavor compound or some such. |

Yeah, I mentioned looking up the point about refrigerating raw tomatoes, which I and my family have always done. I didn't quite believe it at first regarding the texture change but when I looked it up, I read it altered the flavor even. |

I had planned a Japanese thinly sliced steak with soba noodles and veggies but found out this afternoon that my soba noodles are mostly wheat and the second ingredient is only buckwheat. Now I can't eat them. Anyone know if pure and just buckwheat soba are available?
What about that Asian guy here who cooks? Does he know? |

I refrigerate them because I like the coolness sensation of eating cold tomatoes on a salad. I personally think they taste better cold.
