I would have no problem with my state pursuing something like this to get the victims family justice. Even if it did cost us tax payers money. Justice does need to be served in this one.

I agree, the state had a great argument here, he basically told people what he was trying to accomplish.

If he wanted his family to have money he should have stopped with the appeals and trials. Lawyer fees ate most of his worth up.

Perhaps the state could calculate the money it would take to keep these shitbags alive forever and offer them a settlement amount for family members if they agree to off themselves.
