let's see if Ned agrees with me

I give us a 95% chance of a win if Vargas gets another batter and a 99.5% chance if they turn it over to Wade

but I'd say there is a 95/100 chance Ned keeps Vargas in for the 8th (at least until he allows/doesn't allow a runner)

I guess I really can't be mad either way. Let the guy throw a complete game but keep his leash at 1 baserunner allowed

Nope. Have Davis ready, but Vargas should start the inning. No question.

We've had this argument before, but you are wrong. As great as Davis is, you never know if this is the bizarre night where he doesn't have it, and we know what we've got now.

Vargas looks great and he's at 82 pitches. There is no way in hell he doesn't pitch the 8th, especially with a 3-run lead.

There is a 100% chance that every single manager in all of MLB would have Vargas come out for the 8th.

you're probably right

I just know Vargas is prone to blow-up innings and Wade is essentially unhittable

Vargas has to fool guys...hitters against Wade have to guess right and still get lucky enough to hit him

I'm just saying. If you have an 8th inning guy like Wade and a 9th inning guy like Greg and you only use them in 3 run leads or less...****ing use them.

I'll continue to have this opinion until we don't have Wade ****ing Davis in the 8th inning

Just going to say, I know Wade Davis's ERA is impeccable but I believe the more dominant outings he has, the higher chance he will give up some hits each time he's back on the mound. You can't be perfect every single time

Nah.

He has unhittable stuff this year. Hitters don't have a clue.

I've never seen a reliever more unhittable in my life than Wade Davis this year.
