I'm not saying that's much better. Again, I don't particularly endorse Andy Reid. Unlike herm, Reid can actually lead a deep playoff contender. I'm not crazy about him though because his game management is that bad that you have to expect the Chiefs to continue to win in spite of that. But at least we know we have a guy who can coach. I just don't understand why with that large staff you don't have someone advising Reid on clock management or situational play calling. At the very least, wish Pedersen would grow the balls to veto Reid. |

I'd love to see Herm brought in in this role.

Carr is one player Herm deserved full credit for. He made that pick all by himself. Carl said it was his birthday present... a 5th round pick that he could do whatever he wanted with. That story itself kinda underpins the fact that Carl didn't let ANY coach just pick who they wanted. |

That's weird, since he had an aversion to young QB's as a coach and always went after retreads like Jeff Garcia, Rich Gannon, and Brad Johnson. |

So does everyone in the NFL. Luck was a once-a-decade player though...

I think punting the ball at your own 36 yard line is a smart decision if you don't want to win the game.
