Yes it does. Division champs are automatically in the playoffs hence forth the one year they were 11-5 but were not division champs they we sent home with no playoff game.

How can you even argue that your division has not been garbage the entire Brady era and that it hasn't helped NE? Ask Carolina if their shit division helped them this year. I never said NE was not good, they have definitely been good, but winning their garbage division has sent them to the playoffs every year has helped with their seeding. Manning was never challenged in his old division and neither is Brady.
