Well, don't understand why a fake giants fan will be in a game 7 Royals ws thread on a KC board so I'll just stay out of it to maximize my enjoyment.

I don't have time to look through this entire thread so sorry if a repeat question or statement but it looked like their were a lot of empty seats behind home plate the entire game. That is shocking for the 6th game of the World Series.

For anyone who attended the game, were there many empty seats?

It was hard to tell with all the blue blending in and I don't think Fox wants people to know ratings are really bad this series.

On a positive note- CONGRATS TO THE ROYALS!

They were full. There were just times when everyone went inside to get their food or beer or wine or all three.

I got home late yesterday for this game, and decided to watch it from the start, rather than picking it up in the 3rd or 4th inning, wherever they were.

That was just a pleasure to watch.

Ventura pitched with attitude.

If the Royals win tonight's game, then I gotta think that Lorenzo Cain wins another MVP.

I think Salvy would have to be considered as well.

.381/.571/.952
1 HR, 3 runs scored, 4 RBI.

He's had a hell of a series. Love seeing him hitting the ball the other way for a change.

The MVP if the Royals win, IMO, will be whoever wins it for them tonight.

If Infante hits a go ahead 2 run HR in the 7th, he'll be MVP. It's wide open on the Royals side

Now, you have to have allegiance to the team or you can't post?
I never entered a Cardinal thread. This is Kansas City Chiefs Planet, not St. Louis Rams Planet.

I have know problem with fans from other teams on this board...but even guys like Knowmo troll after game time and HARDLY post in the official GDT...you know, because generally speaking most fans of other teams like to enjoy games with fans cheering on the same time.

That's what's annoying to me.

Someone's performance tonight could make the MVP an obvious choice. But, if I had to pick now, it would be between Salvy and Ventura. And, maybe Guthrie if he pitches a gem tonight.

if Guthrie pitches another 5 and turns the game over to H D H with a lead...he's just as good as anyone for MVP

and it would also piss off Orioles fans so ...

I was thinking Cain, .318, .423, .409 with 4 runs, 4 RBI's and great D, but I like the Perez angle better. Infante is definitely in the running if he does something great tonight he is at .300, .333, .600 with 4 runs and 4 RBI's.

Aoki and Gordon are the only ones who have horrible splits right now and Gordon could still have a shot at it with something heroic tonight.

Pence has an OPS of 1196 right now.

Guthrie has to go 7 or 8 tonight for a shot at MVP. I like your idea of 5 innings, he was getting hit pretty hard last time out.
