which is what I tried saying the entire time

they would have literally given that base to Esky, and hell...probably 3rd, too

the pitcher's only job up 6 is to get outs, and focus on the hitter

but now this just opens up a new can of worms for another crop of people who are gonna be like "well then why didn't he just take 2nd and 3rd then!??!"
