2014-2015 NBA off-season Lebron goes home thread.

I will update this when the schedule is announced in a couple of weeks, but I will open with the new uniforms for the Charlotte Hornets below.

Sorry I don't keep count on that stuff. I will admit though that I bacame a Cavs fan his rookie year. Didn't really care for basketball before then and chose then because of him, Midwest team, and I tend to like teams like the Chiefs, Cavs, and Cyclones for whatever reason. Hated LeBron the first two years he left and got over it for the last two. But yes I still posted about the Cavs here and there when LeBron wasn't here. And got plenty of shit for saying he was coming home the last two years.

I'm not even sure where I fit on that spectrum. I liked the Cavs back in the Price, Ehlo, Daughtery, Williams, Knight, Sanders, etc. days. I also liked them with Lebron the first time around. Honestly, I lost track of them after he left, so I'm probably a Cavs bandwagoner.

Oddly enough, I liked the Heat from their expansion days in 1988 or so until the Hardaway days. Once they started getting good (post Matt Fish?!?), I lost interest and cheered against them once the Big 3 happened. I guess I'm sort of an anti-bandwagon Heat fan.

so you like the cavs when they had lebron...

who did you like when lebron was on the heat?

not the cavs, surely, or you would have posted about them sans lebron like SNR does with a team like the twolves only true fans care about

so, in essence, you're just a lebron fanboy.

so no, I don't give a shit about your Cavs "fandom." Because it doesn't exist. You're a lebron bandwagoner. Fair enough. But don't act like you're some actual Cavs fan.

I'm a Cavs fan because they had the most 90's jersey ever.

Okay, I'm not really a Cavs fan.

I think rust is like 25

so he's that age where he didn't get to see MJ, but LeBron was the "chosen one" when rust was like 13-14.

so yeah, he's just a lebron fanboy. Nothing wrong with that. But not gonna respect him as some sort of cavs fan.

It's as if the jersey was designed by Fleer.

Too obscure?

Got nothing against the Cavs. I love LeBron, I'm ecstatic he went back. I think he belongs there. Plus, I have a lot of good Jordan/Cavs memories growing up!

I just wish Love would get traded somewhere so this topic would go away. The same things have been said 10 different times at this point. It is an interesting topic, but until there's more concrete news, not much left to be said.

Yep, it's a sure 60+ wins with Kevin Love vs. 50+ wins with Wiggins and the potential to develop him into a star in a few years. I think the Cavs will be OK either way.

I made posts all four years he was gone too. Kyrie Irving has been my favorite player. I went to a Cavs game last year when they lost in Minnesota.

Coach K would make the trade without a second of hesitancy. But what the hell does he know about basketball? Probably doesn't even watch summer league game tape.

Totally makes sense. I was very underwhelmed by Wiggins when he was at KU. I realize he's only 18 but ****. Michael Beasley was unbelievable at KSU. Durant? Unbelievable at Texas. LeBron was UNBELIEVABLE his rookie year in CLE. Carmelo? Ditto.

Wiggins? Parker? Meh and meh.

But again, I don't know shit. Bill Simmons talked me out of Wiggins for Love last week after reading one article when he questioned if LeBron could turn Wiggins into his Pippen. Now I just kind of want to see that...I already know what Kevin Love is.

But the thing is... Why would Lebron want to turn anybody into anything? He's not getting younger. The opportunity to win now AND in the future should overrule the opportunity to try to turn a rookie into something he might or might not be able to be.
