So 13 cars werent finished with inspection when first stage of qualifying finished. Yep, this is legit.
I dont care whose fault it was, they've been there since 10AM this morning and there is absolutely no reason to have this happen. Nascar continues to step on its dick. Im almost glad this is Gordon's last season, I wont have to watch this series descend into full WWF mode.

Calling all NASCAR fans. Tomorrow I'll be working, I'll have an iPad with wifi connection and I want to see if you know a site where I can watch the race live. Thanks in advance.

Kind of rainy, cold and shitty in Atlanta this morning and the start has been delayed, but we're about to go.

But as a veteran I certainly appreciate it, and I know a lot of their base is rooted in the part of our culture that's very patriotic. That's a great thing.. |

Oh, and having a son who's one of the few kids to have been the scout troops bugler (and we used him like none other), we were just texting about how bad we feel for the bugler at this race. They hate to miss a note. Not that I really know what a note is.
My son still bugles veteran's funerals (and I love him even more for it), he knows how hard it is to perform under pressure and a very solemn and somber ceremony where, at the time, you're the only one making a peep. He's told me time and time again how he appreciates how the bugler is (usually) placed in the shadows (lets call it a silhouette setting) to blow taps. He's teared up at many of the funerals and he's said he's never had a harder time playing anything than at those moments. And I triple-down on my love for him (if that's possible!!) because he won't let them pay anything for his services. He's got a prepared card for when they offer, and they always do, that he's sorry for their loss, honored that they let him participate in honoring their loved veteran, and has a "Proud of my Eagle Scout" sticker for them to put on their car because he'll always be part of them now too. Not even gas money... Yeah, he's awesome and I'll always brag on him because he's crazy awesome.. |

NASCAR’s firmness of mind towards our military has always been in place for the years that I have been a fan of this sport - Nothing more, nothing less.

JL's cars are just playing with the rest of the field in these first two races.
Controversy? Is he a Pats fan? |

Wow, NASCAR just cut Austin Dillon a huge break. He'll use all of his abilities to lose that lap right back soon enough, though.
