Great opportunity for Erik at Joe Gibbs Racing. I like him - He is a good new and upcoming driver. Erik won the Camping World Truck Series title for Kyle Busch and drove for JGR in 2016 Xfinity Series. I remember reading that he is in the top 15 NASCAR Cup standings -

I think he is around 21, 22 years-old.

BBC: Toto Wolff: 'Moaning' Romain Grosjean lucky to be in Formula 1

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has hit out at Romain Grosjean's "moaning" about being blocked by Lewis Hamilton, saying his troubled Formula 1 past makes him ill-placed to comment on others.

Grosjean remains furious that Hamilton escaped sanction for impeding him during Q3 at the British Grand Prix, and went as far as suggesting that the FIA only let the polesitter off because he was fighting for the world championship.

Unimpressed by those comments, Wolff said Grosjean should be thankful to have an F1 career at all given his history - which includes a race ban for causing a startline crash at the 2012 Belgian GP.

Hamilton escaped a penalty (see video) Grosjean (Haas-Ferrari) might not have benefited, however Ferrari's drivers Kimi and Vettel would have moved to first and second at Silverstone.

Silverstone is known for its speed, flat track and great corners. Fun track.

Grosjean suggests title battle a factor in Hamilton ruling

Romain Grosjean says that Lewis Hamilton’s championship status may have influenced the stewards’ decision to take no further action after the qualifying incident between them.

It was confirmed that Hamilton would retain pole position after qualifying following an investigation into whether he impeded the Haas driver in Vale corner during one of Grosjean’s flying laps.

The stewards studied video and telemetry data and despite concluding that Grosjean “may potentially have been affected by the presence of Hamilton at Turn 16”, determined that “he was not impeded”.

“I am surprised by the wording ‘the driver behind has not been impeded’,” Grosjean told media after qualifying. “If losing 0.3 to 0.4s in one corner is not being impeded I’m very surprised.

“I think it opens some room for messes in qualifying and the rules are pretty clear. I know that there’s a world title battle going on at the front but we are in a position where we actually fight as hard as the boys at the front and I was impeded today.

“Maybe if it was another driver the sanction would have been something and it does feel sometimes like there are two types of decisions.”

Grosjean finished the session having qualified tenth, the slowest of the Q3 runners. The Haas driver says that the incident cost him at least three tenths of a second.

“We’ve put a lot of work in and yes I lost 0.35s in two corners,” says Grosjean. “Maybe next time I have to get my front wing in his rear diffuser to show that I have been impeded.”

It is funny to know that Marko Helmet head of Red Bull's driver development team is responsible for puttlng Vettel, Verstappen and Ricciardo in F1 cars.

Not much love though between Vettel and Verstappen. A lot of friction between those two drivers. Verstappen, 20-21 years-old is a hell of a racer - he goes head to head with Vettel and at times beats him - he just needs RB to get their cars together. Might be too late in the season, though

I read that Red Bull is planning to bring a significant update to Red Bull cars for Hungary...Max had three consecutive retirements in a row after suffering turbo failure - that's BS...
