I guess. But the prequels were overly reliant on CGI, which this won't be. They had annoying characters and an entire movie that doesn't even need to exist to understand the other ones. He's presumably read the whole script and seen the vision for the new ones.

The bar was set really low for the prequels. It's not hard to say that the new ones will be better than those. Better than Empire . . . probably not.

The edit is the most important facet of a great film. The prequels could have been much better had Binks' part had been reduced, the Trade Federation dubbed with alien voices instead of somewhat dopey voices, the "love scenes" cut in ATOC, the ending of ROTS tightend up and so on.

As I mentioned earlier, the next phase of the film has yet to begin and the film could change in the edit bay. It will most likely require some re shoots and pick up shots.

All of this isn't to state that the film won't be good or even great. But at this point in time, when so much is left to complete, it's a pretty silly statement to make.

Could be. I just read it as him being pumped up about it, as opposed to hating it. And I think that's a tremendously good sign.

There's a huge burden on this movie to get it right. Expectations are HUGE, and I'm glad Iger finally budged and let them push back the release date. They HAVE to get this right.

The ****ed up thing is that they don't even need a trailer. They could just have a dark screen and then . . . BAM! Star Wars logo followed by the date.

Did he score the teaser for ROTS, or did they just splice and dice?

Sounded like an original to me.

I honesty cannot remember.

But with more than 12 hours of Star Wars music available, it's really surprising that they're willing to spend $300-$500k for two minutes of music.

Disney & Lucasfilm are really setting Episode VII up to be an event. I hope it delivers.

Just read a really good spy report on Luke's role in Episode 7.

Don't want to reveal anything but man it sounded awesome. If true people are going to be crying in the theater.

This is going to be an awesome movie, as long as Hamill nailed the part (have my doubts actually).

Man my hype meter is already through the roof and it's still a year + away...crazy.

2015 is gonna be ridiculous for movies....so many hitting that I want to see.
