no one is saying that

we're not even mentioning the fact a lefty was on the mound making it that much more difficult to steal a base, you know, since a lefty pickoff move is hard to get a jump on...but that's beside the point

the point is, Esky's run MEANT nothing in the grand scheme of things.

I doubt the Giants really ****ing cared if he took 2nd and 3rd if he REALLY wanted to. The point is, it doesn't matter.

It would have been utterly pointless to steal 2nd base in that situation against any pitcher especially a lefty. Aoki needed to get a hit. He didn't.

Yeah if we lose game 2 I can still see us scraping our way back into the series and getting it back to the K. If we lose game 2 & 3 we're absolutely ****ed (though coming back from down 3-0 would just fit)
