Physics 1 sucked.

Physics 2 was kinda cool. Time dilation, etc.

That sucks though. Rough summer. No time for golf.

Scruggs gets an error, but Carlos needs to calm down there and just let the 1st baseman handle it.

Scruggs needs to call him off there though.

Nope. Although the girls were out of town this weekend, so I got two trips in to the range.

I've decided to give up on a body-based pivot. I feel like my hands are totally dead through the zone. Taking it back high and deep, bumping left, firing my hips and hands aggressively, while not the modern swing, just works for me so much better. Short-game wise, I hit almost every shot better with my body set 30-40 degrees open to the target.

I need to stop trying to become a player I'm not.

I've got a best ball tourney coming up in a few weeks and my backs been a little shotty from picking up my monster 2 year old, so i've taken it easy.

I'm all about taking the hands out of the golf swing. I got my swing back on plane after doing some video work and have been playing pretty well. Doubled 18 friday in my normal friday game for a 71.

Problem with that is, 71 got me a smooth 3rd finish that day, barely in the money. ****ing bullshit excollegiate golfers with no kids "business" jobs. I can't keep up with that.

Also, I just saw your edit. I've had to realize that. I get to play friday's, but don't get to put near the time I did into it. I'm a big golf machine proponent and it's all about taking the hands and small muscles out.

I've just never been able to sequence the release of my hands with my pivot, and I always feel like I have to suck my arms in to keep from throwing the hosel at the ball.

With keeping the forearm on plane thru the ball, it takes the release out of it somewhat and will help take the left side out.

Something I've been working on and it's a great drill, but get in a swimming pool and swing a club. You'll get out and mash it.

My problem for years is that I had almost no forearm rotation in my backswing, so I generally held the club off with a really strong grip.

What I've done this year is weaken my grip considerably to where it's neutral, and let my forearms freely rotate in the back swing. From there, I can bump forward and rip with my hands and hips.
