With DGB, you could see a team saying that maybe there was some he said she said involved in his incident. It's possible that his story was actually true about there being a scuffle and she fell as a result of that but not intentionally on his part. I don't believe that but maybe they might've.

With this one, rearranging a woman's face on video worse than Ray Rice, how do you take him back - and not only that, stand up and talk about how he just made a "split-second decision" incorrectly? A wrong split second decision is ordering the nachos bell grande instead of the 7 layer nachos. Fracturing a woman's skull is not just a simple bad decision. And then you are going to stand up in front of the media and talk about what a "super, super kid" he is?

Embarrassing.

How is Mizzou scoring fewer points than their 1950s teams? I don't watch your games (who would?) so explain how you can score 49 points with a shot clock and a 3-pt line???

Doesn't the NFL and NFLPA have rules about coaches and players talking in the offseason?

It's a pretty simple formula.

1) Terrible coaching
2) Mediocre talent that isn't experienced

This team was never going to be a threat to make the postseason, legitimately, or be very good. But it should be a hell of a lot better than this.

I'll get it out of the way and mention that they're going to be bad next year, too, because some of the talented on-roster players are going to leave (at least one, possibly a few more) and the incoming recruiting class is ****ing awful.

Missouri's best hope is that they're again completely awful next year, and the nostalgic experiment with the old man who was a shitty assistant for Norm Stewart as his program cycled down is terminated.

Which will happen first - Missouri gets into the NCAA tournament or Kansas goes to a Bowl game?

Who knows? Mizzou has been to the tournament 26 times. Kansas has played in 12 bowl games. Neither are happening this year.

Who knows, at this point. Kansas football averages a bowl appearance every 10 years, and I think the last one was 2008, so Mizzou would only have 3 more seasons to get it together.

Looking at his contract, he's guaranteed $1.1m plus incentives (none of which he will reach 2015 or 2016 obv). Haith got $1.75m. The contract says KA gets $50k if ticket sales > $4.7m. They earned $5.2m in 2013 when attendance was twice what it is today.

So only looking at the financial aspects, you probably lost $2-3m in ticket sales alone. No idea how to estimate suite revenue or donations but that has to be lower too. Another year or two of this and you're lookin at a $10m hit.

Kim Anderson is so bad and it really says something about the level of DII basketball. How he could win so many games is funny.

He won because he was at the DII equivalent of Stanford or Texas or Florida (cross-sport excellence in athletics). He out-talented the teams he was playing.

I also suspect his old-school, hard ass approach works better with guys who don't have the options of D1 players. He worked mostly with JUCOs, local kids who were happy to be playing D2, and guys who has transferred down from D1 (and had no other real options).
