Will you be getting a 3rd dose of the COVID-19 vaccine?
* If you haven't gotten a COVID vaccine and have no intention of doing so
* If you are anti-vaccine
* If you are just going to stir up shit

.... please just go to the DC and discuss your opinions there.

For those of you left.... What are your thoughts on a 3rd dose of the vaccine 8 months after your second jab? There seems to be very limited data on this at the moment, other than a bit of info out of Israel that shows a 3rd jab of the mRNA vaccines shows an increased level of antibodies. But from my understanding, they're only using Pfizer.

This obviously leaves a lot of questions regarding Moderna and Johnson and Johnson. I'm not even sold on the idea of a booster being needed for all ages.

What are your thoughts?

As a follow up to my previous post, today we just hired 90 RN's from around the US to assist with the overload to assist our staff nurses due to this recent pandemic. They need assistance due to the influx of patients infected with COVID. You need to be aware of how fast this infection is truly happening. Just FYI. Do not know the situation in KC.

I know here in NW Missouri. (North of KC) We appear to be through the worst of it. Hospital census has been slowly declining. Test positivity rate declining.

I'm optimistic.

It hit us hard and fast, but we never got overwhelmed. I'm hoping it stays that way.

We’ll probably have to take booster shots along with flue shots for the rest of our lives. COVID isn’t going away any time soon in my opinion.

San Francisco has seen a surge in recent Corona hospitalizations which are now at the same level as last summer… and 80%+ of their population is fully vaccinated.

I have no dog in the bodybuilding fight, but clicked the link for the hell of it... and in the first couple of sentences it says "home stretch" and also has several mentions along the lines of "finishing touches"...... and also specifically mentions for the 10 day thing, you have to already be at 6-8% body fat (and I don't know if that's exactly unhealthy, but I know a lot of athletes aren't even in that range).

Seems to thoroughly argue the exact opposite point.

I know one of my former classmates in RT quit the field after 25 years and being forced to work 60+ hours a week with people dying on him. Now, all he saw was the unvaccinated. Just burned out.

4 teachers I know in the KC area got Covid since school started.

My mother in law lives in rural SW Missouri told us that farmers can’t find the deworming medicine for their cows and are worried about the cows dying or infecting the whole herd.

That’s my out of market anecdotal info on what’s happening in Missouri. Way better than what’s happening here.
