Hypothetical: Get reincarnated here.

Just for fun, I've been dividing the world up into regions, and just finished last night. I divided the world into 16,789 regions based on states, provinces, communities, islands, arrondissements, or whatever else happened to be handy.

I didn't know what to do with it, so I created a reincarnation simulator. Sign up here and learn about your next life in advance. I'll give you:

Gender: (Male or Female)
Intelligence: 1 to 100, with 100 as the top
Attractiveness: 1 to 100, with 100 as the top
Economic Status: 1 to 100, with 100 as the top
Nation of Future Birth
Region of Future Birth
Population of that Region (which is somewhat useless since the boundaries are generally manmade, but hey, I've got it)

All statuses are relative to the region that you're in, not the world. So if you draw a 50 on economic status and you're born in the Badghis regions of Afghanistan, that means that you're at the median status of Badghis residents.

Sign up below if you're interested in the early release of your next life. I'll do three reincarnations per day, with the goal that we can discuss and decide which of the three has the best future fate awaiting them. Feel free to post pictures, maps, or descriptions of the reincarnated person's life as you see it.

So sign up below and we'll do the first three today.

Methodology: All figures are random. The probability of being born into a particular region is based on the population of that region.

And with money like that, I can afford to not care that I'm not as smart as I think I am. That's how it works, right?

Jember is a nice tropical area on eastern Java, and dartgod is an established member of the B list - not upper class, but pretty close.

He's 20 miles from a beach, but lives in a nice neighborhood like this: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Je...!4d113.7009312
So, other than being a bit homely, I'm fairly intelligent and not living in poverty? I guess it could have been worse. At least I'm not eating rats for dinner and brushing flies off my mouth.

You're not even really homely. You fall into the broad category of "average". So it's a pretty good life, I think.

This thread has me wondering how people would "rate" themselves now on your scale...

I get the feeling that 40-60 is pretty much the same generic average appearance on the scale, its at the extremes when things start changing rapidly. I don't think most people can tell the difference between a 40 and a 50, but you can easily see the difference between 90 and 100, or 10 and zero.

That's my thinking. If they were next to each other, you'd pick the 60 over the 40, but if you saw them both walking down the street ten minutes apart you wouldn't think much about a difference.

But yeah, a 100 versus a 90 is going to be noticeable. Both delightful, but a 100 is going to be world-class.

You may need to increase your sample size. There is a correlation between appearance and being willing to go outside.
