DON'T buy WS tickets at current prices

I have a few friends that deal in the secondary market professionally here in KC. (Not scalpers, technically. These guys have offices and pay taxes.) I've been told by, literally, all of them not to buy until at least Monday. All three that I've called about tickets have told me they have them, but that no one is buying at current prices...even on StubHub. They say that by game day they expect prices to drop dramatically. One even saying he expects SRO to fall to around $250 and then for prices to increase incrementally from there. He basically said people are throwing shit against the wall to see what sticks at this point, and that nothing is sticking.

Again, I went to HS with 2 of these guys, so them not trying to stiff me isn't a surprise...even though it's basically what they do for a secondary income.

If you have the scratch to buy now, go ahead I guess. But if you're on a budget, I wouldn't rule out going to a game just yet.

For the WC I saw tons of people standing around entrances to seating areas, I assumed they all had SRO tickets. I think as long as you aren't a dumbass and blocking the way for people who have seats you'd be fine.

I stayed in the same place but it was a great spot, but people were moving all over

This. People were standing everywhere.

The tables above RF had people standing on them and it was a good view. We were right next to the tv camera that views from the pitchers back to the plate. Right by the Kauffman statue with a tv right behind us for replays and to see Gordon hit the wall.

I believe there is sort of a designated area, but no one really knows you are holding a SRO ticket. As long as you don't camp out in an aisle or entryway the ushers probably aren't going to say anything.

I'm kind of surprised there isn't a bigger disparity between upper level and lower. Some of the 200 Sections aren't much more than the 400s.

Many people prefer the view of the upper level as opposed to the Outfield, which is where the cheaper 200 level tickets are located.

This is just my own preference, but I dismissed the possibility of buying an outfield ticket almost immediately. To the point where I didn't even check the price, I wouldn't care if outfield tickets were $150 each. I would rather be in row ZZ in the top of the upperdeck behind home plate, than in the front row of the outfield.

I guess I'd rather be in an outfield seat than not go at all, but at that point it would be because of the experience rather than actually enjoying the baseball game. I'll tolerate a baseball game from halfway down the line at most, but near the foul pole or in the outfield is just not a place for me to enjoy watching a game.

Oh, for those who were not aware it exists, make sure you sign up for stubhub rewards before buying a ticket. Its free, so what the hell. These tickets are so expensive, after you buy your world series tickets, you'll probably immediately get 1 or 2 $10 coupons good for your next stubhub purchase.

Parking went from $11 regular season to $15 ALDS to $25 ALCS. I was preparing to be raped on WS parking. So nice of them to ease up.
