Horrible. I should ban you for a year. This kind of crap should be a SNL skit.

If We Sign Peyton, Does That Clear Piolis Name Here?
Does a move like that move that love/hate pendulum more towards the love side for the GMOTD?

I just farted and it smells kinda weird.
Anyway, yeah, it wouldn't make up for everything, but it would certainly show some BALLS. |

He would still need to hit on another quarterback to take his place

It would generate a lot of excitement around the team. In the absence of having a shot at drafting a QB, it's the right move.

No because still wouldn't have drafted a first round QB. Need to trade away the next 2 years drafts to get a QB that's never played a down in the NFL.

Nope, as I I said before IMO this is a Clark move.

Pretty simple. It buys him time.
If Peyton wins a Super Bowl here before he retires, Pioli's forgiven. If Peyton doesn't win a Super Bowl in 3 years, Pioli better damn well have a young QB who has legit upside to be a franchise QB. If he doesn't have either of those things in 3 years, Pioli better be on the chopping block. |

I gauged the intensity in Pioli's eyes from youtube video. He's serious.
