Say what you want about Cutler. He makes the Bears ledgit. The difference between him and guys like Cassel or Orton is that he does have "it." You have to have "it" to be considered a franchise QB. He instantly made Chicago a ledgit contender. He constantly gets his head smashed in and he has had no receivers until this year. Now that he has Marshall, the city is falling in love with him despite his unlikeable personality. Last edited by Woodchuck; 11-05-2012 at 10:15 AM.. |

Comparing Cutler to Cassel or even Orton is like comparing Tuna and Mackerel. They are both fish and they both live in the Ocean, but one stinks so bad that it makes the other smell good. Cutler has the one of the perennial top Defenses, which is really bad ass this year, the best RB in the league IMO. And the team is winning inspite of his mistakes. You know one of those franchise/elite type QBs will make his teammates look better. He doesn't have to be surrounded by the best talent to look good like Cutler.

Ha ha, we've gone from "wait till next year to draft a QB" to "should have drafted a QB last year". These stupid fans.

As prospects, if you're looking at Barkley, Smith, and Wilson and claim that they "suck," I'm not sure what to tell you.

Woodchuck, it sounds like you're pretty confident all these QBs will bust this year.
You've posted this kind of garbage before. I wish you'd just come out and say it. You think it's too risky this year to draft a QB with the top pick. You want one of those LBers or DEs. Don't you? |

If we get Jones for example, we can deal Hali. I love Hali but it's time to quit thinking with out hearts. Also, we can use our third to move up because we will get another one for Carr. There is not a clear cut QB to take #1 overall. That says alot. I am 100% all in for taking a first round QB. We just don't have to be stupid about it. Last, I don't know if these guys will bust. I just said it's a sucky year to be taking a QB early in the draft. Last edited by Woodchuck; 11-05-2012 at 03:18 PM.. |

You do! I forgot about him! I like the leadership but it's hard to predict where first round MLBs will go. Guys like Laurinitus, Ryans, and Lewis all went later than expected. Even Willis didn't go top 10 and he was definately better than Te'o. However, the salaries have changed so maybe?
