He won fair-and-square "by the rules that are in place."

But he won the race going ~70-90mph. That sucks for the sport.

Fixing it won't be easy or pretty, but not fixing it isn't an answer either. And green-white-checker isn't working, they're going to have to do some things that really piss-off the teams and drivers.

While this would take my driver out for a few races, perhaps the driver who causes a wreck in the last 20 laps of a race should have to sit-out 3-4 races. If there's nothing they can do because they were made aero-loose, or they can see they blew a tire/engine, perhaps NASCAR and let them race (that might save JG here), but at this point sitting through laps 30-170 was (again) proven to be pretty-much dumb, and that's a problem.

I don't have all the answers, but today's race finishing at 70mph was, again, terrible (for anybody other than JL fans).

I agree, today's race, even in this gay format, had no reason to go yellow with the wreck being nowhere close to the start/finish line and a danger to those left racing.

NASCAR could easily call a green\yellow in the example of yesterday's race. I know, I know there is no such thing as a green\yellow but put it in the rule book. If on the last lap a crash occurs that will not interfere or cause safety issues with racing to the finish line call a green\yellow. Have the lights around the track start flashing both the green and yellow lights and race to the line. After passing the finish line drivers are to treat the track as a caution situation. Problem fixed.

Carl was headed for the lead...to overtake #48 and in one swift move JJ pushed Carl back into the pack. ....a move he never really recovered from the rest of the race.

His speeding penatly at the end didn't help either. I think you missed that part.

I watched the whole race......while the speeding penalty didn't help any the psychological ploy there by JJ got to him just as much if not more than the penalty did.
