I think that's exactly what he did, without openly refusing. He obviously didn't want to sign it, dragged his feet, the deal got ****ed up. And he ended up a FA. I don't think it's coincidental. Hell, the more I think about it, it seems more and more like he held the hammer in this thing. He was either gonna get $12M, or be a FA.

Furthermore, not being able to talk football without it always becoming an attack fest is another. I live in wisconsin. The only way i can talk face to face with football fans, is to talk packers.

Why would Denver want him back? Some team will give him 6m. He counts like 4.2m vs the cap now. If Denver matches that offer that's 10.2m vs the cap in 2013.
