Eclipse Viewing Party 8-18 to 8-21-17
A lot of you already know what are place is like,I'd say perfect for an Eclipse Party Weekend so am posting this here as well for anyone who might care to join us.

*$12 per person(day of 8-21-17) includes picnic lunch,themed soundtrack music and commemorative viewing glasses.Bring your own seating and beverages.Upper deck seating is limited.
*Primitive camping also available for overnight stays $35 night

What an over-hyped disappointment. In Liberty (very few clouds) and it didn't get dark as night... not even close. Saw a few of the features just before totality which were cool, but it mainly felt like a cool dusk evening.

It was pretty disappointing. 99.6 percent or so and it was basically twilight with a bit of a temperature drop. I really wouldn't have thought you would have to go to the actual small area of 100% to get the experience.

Damn that was disappointing. Colander was cool. Eclipse shadows were cool. I really thought it would get darker than that though. Basically no different than if a cloud obscured the sun here.

It was 99.8% here. This is how bright it still was.



The lens flare shows the shape of the sun. For comparison here is one I took briefly before showing a more clear crescent.



Through the glasses though the thing looked absolutely amazing.
