They're feeling pretty good about themselves right now. Not only did they take down a mighty conference opponent and flush their goalposts down Lake Toilet, their conference is seeing a renaissance led by the traditional Big XII(sic) powers of Baylor, West Virginia, and TCU. That's pretty bonerific for those guys.

Strange comment to make for someone who gets to compete against such dismal competition.

Not only did I spotlight how terrible the "good" teams you play are with my post yesterday but I didn't feel the need to spotlight how terrible the "bad" ones are.

wow, just wow. No wonder you left the conference. If I couldn't cut it I'd run and hide too.
Didn't your last game feature two winless teams? Strange timing for this comment.

Also funny that one of the winless SEC teams went on the road and destroyed a Big 12 team that blew out Kansas.

I'll give you this much...Kansas does a really good job of convincing people their schedule is hard.

The FCS team you beat by 6 at home isn't doing your SoS any favors, though. They've now lost four in a row to Murray State, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, and Tennessee Tech. Hopefully they get it together for Austin Peay on Saturday.

So, while teams have inflated their SoS against teams like kU, teams have mostly lost to Mizzou, and still have our SoS above yours.

Interesting argument, you've got there. I wish I could be like you sometimes, without a care in the world, with regard to be wrong all the time.

This is what's funny about the Big 12 (well, and the fact that they continue to call themselves the Big 12, despite only having 10 teams):

SEC tradition rich schools that play in the East (see Florida, Georgia, Tennessee) have fallen on hard times recently and had some bad luck with injuries, coaching changes, etc. and they use this as a reason to justify why Mizzou is "lucky" last year and 7-2 again this year and in the driver's seat for the SEC Title Game again.

And yet, in their own backyard (quick, look the other way, divert, divert), tradition rich Big 12 schools like Texas (joke for a number of years now), Oklahoma (wow, rough year for the flagship) and Nebraska (yeah, they left) have come upon their own 'rough patch' and now the Big 12 Accolytes prop up the likes of Baylor (small private Christian school), TcU and West Virgina (two teams who haven't been able to cut it in the Big 12 till now) as though this is a good thing for their conference and makes them look stronger? Seriously, how ****ing dumb can you be?!?

When Oklahoma and Texas are down and the likes of TCU and West Virginia are helping carry your conference, FYI, that's probably not a good thing. Just so you know.

Mizzou was smart to leave this joke of a conference and 'step down' to the conference than has crowned 7 of the last 8 National Champions.

Thank God the Mizzou AD had the balls to makes the move and leave this cesspool behind . . . .

Perhaps we aren't as smart as you. I'll admit that I wasn't smart enough to follow your logic in this conversation:

Saul: Actually, he was, but he doesn't want to play on the defensive side of the ball anymore. He's not a great Tight End, so they're targeting Imatorbhebhe at TE instead of keeping Moore.

Bambi: You're a liar. He was recruited by Ohio State to play Tight End, and I can prove it. Here's the guy they signed to replace Moore...(links to the Rivals profile page of a DE signed the day before Moore decommitted).

Saul: blinks slowly

And you know their basketball team has to pay for those. I bet they'll make them work concessions at some home bball games. Or push them down some stairs...

TCU has been a good football program for quite awhile. TCU being the class of the Big 12 is not a bad thing.

You're right, but watching Frick and Frack coattail your school like they actually believe in some sort of Big Howevermany solidarity IS a bad thing.

It is when Texas and Oklahoma are both sitting outside the Top 25 and not doing anything relevant nationally for the conference.

Two schools with the most money and influence and they're being carried on the backs of Baylor, TCU and West Virginia (and K-State, as well).

I have nothing against TCU and they do have a decent football program. It's just a bad look for the Big 12 nationally when they are carrying the conference.

What reality is that? The reality in which we had a harder SOS than Kansas last year and still won the SEC East, beat a Big 12 team in the Cotton Bowl, and finished with 12 wins and a top 5 ranking, or the reality in which we have a harder SOS than Kansas this year, are 7-2, and are in first place?

West Virginia isn't carrying shit. They're going to finish with 5 or 6 losses. That's a big improvement from last year when the only won four games (2 of which were against Georgia State and William and Mary), but they aren't exactly doing the heavy lifting.
