It's Oblivion/Morrowind with guns. It's an open world RPG that works in first person, but it's not really a shooter. The shooting controls aren't up to FPS standards, but it has the VATS system where you basically pause the game and queue up attacks on different parts of enemies' bodies. The story of the game is poor and it has an embarrassingly bad ending, but there is some nice flavor and humor in the game. But Fallout 3 is basically an open world game where you can do pretty much what you want, do various side quests or **** around, or play the main quest. It's an RPG though, don't buy if it you are expecting a shooter.

Damn. Gold membership expired right at 12:01am. When it said 11/28 I figured it meant 11:59pm. oh well, guess I will just let the 250 points sit and do nothing.

I thought Hell's Highway was extremely dull, and I can't recommend it for anything more than $10, which I'd expect will be its pricepoint within 6 months.
As for the Left 4 Dead debate, while I don't think it has the mass appeal of CoD4 or Halo 3, I think the tail is longer than most expect, with decent sales well into the spring. Word of mouth for this game is generally very positive, and if the marketing behind this game is anything to go by, I think Valve will support the 360 version with DLC better than they did with TF2. |

I just played the MP, but c'mon man..gimme a M16 with a 3 round burst and a red dot sight. And I want da choppa. Dogs are cool and sh*t..but I just bayonet the mafuggas, you ain't gonna bayonet a choppa. |
